vLoc3 accessory from Vivax Metrotech: A-frame antenna.
The vLoc3 Series A-Frame Antenna is used to detect defects in cable insulation and cathodic-protected piping insulation.
In the case of pipes, the damage consists of insulation defects.
In the case of cables, damage is usually caused by damage to the insulation, which allows the metal sheath (or cores) to leak current to the ground.
The A-frame antenna is intended for use with the vLoc3 series locators and will require a fault finding (FF) signal from the Vivax-Metrotech-compatible generator in fault finding (FF) mode.
