Sclerometer / Schmidth hammer Ectha PRO from DRC (Italy) is intended for concrete hardness measurement by compressing concrete in the range of 5 - 120 MPa with a flexible bounce method.

The principle of the Smith Hammer is based on the impact of a standardized energy on the test surface by measuring the height of the kickback.

  Using the measurement results and the three types of nomograms with A = -90 °, A = 0 ° and A = 90 °, and the technical data table for concrete grades, it is possible to determine the concrete grade.
