       Roof and Wall Scanner RWS - Roof and Wall Scanner from the Irish company TRAMEX is intended for scanning medium and small area roofs to identify areas of coating damage.

       RWS is a professional, mobile, non-destructive, surface-resistance-based scanner designed for immediate measurement of roof humidity in waterproofing systems.

       RWS determines and assesses the humidity conditions of roofing systems by measuring electrical resistance in a non-destructive way. It generates a low frequency electrical signal which is transmitted to the test material by one electrode and received by the other. The strength of this signal varies in proportion to the amount of moisture in the material being tested.

      The RWS measures the current and converts it to a relative humidity value. Moving across the roof surface with the scanner provides continuous reading, and areas containing moisture are easily identified after power surges.
