Product features:
- The NETcat® Pro2 is a digital tool for the fast and accurate testing of cables, wiring, and network services.
- The NETcat® Pro2 is operated via a backlit touchscreen; it tests for wire continuity and correct pair configuration, measures cable length, detects network service availability, and identifies Power over Ethernet (PoE) cables.
- The screen—controlled by touch or the included stylus—allows for the management and display of various tests, ranging from fault location to cable length measurement using the TDR method.
- The display language can be set to English, Spanish, French, Russian, or German.
Functions:
• Detects short circuits, open circuits, as well as reversed, crossed, and split pairs.
• Measures cable length within a range of 0 to 600 meters (2,000 feet) using TDR technology. • NVP cable library includes 5 common fixed and 5 user-defined cable types stored in non-volatile memory.
• Graphical touchscreen with contrast adjustment and backlight.
• Tests shielded twisted pair (STP), unshielded twisted pair (UTP), and coaxial cables.
