    VM 585 - Ferromagnetic object location AND cable and pipe location in one device!

         The system combines the previously separate fields of cable and pipe location using ferromagnetic object location. A unique combined solution for all budgets which is suitable for all fields of application.
    Pipes and cables can be directly or indirectly (inductively) coupled with 3 active frequencies. What is more, using the receiver, ferromagnetic object location can also be carried out alongside site probing using 50 Hz passive reception.
         VM 585 has become especially relevant since the installation of plastic valve caps has begun, where the cap clamp and the shaft are the only iron parts left. Thus, the previously detectable depth of a cast iron cap of 1 - 1.2 m for standard detectors has decreased to 0.2 - 0.25 m! The described VM 585 in metal detector mode can find a plastic valve cap already at a depth of 0.6 - 0.8 m!
